The Success of the Joint Conference: APWiMob and IoTaIS 2024

The Joint Conference of APWiMob 2024 (9th Asia Pacific Conference on Wireless and Mobile) and IoTaIS 2024 (2024 IEEE International Conference on Internet of Things and Intelligence System) successfully concluded on November 28-30, 2024, as a virtual conference hosted from Bandung, Indonesia. Sponsored and organized by the IEEE ComSoc Indonesia Chapter, and supported by Telkom University and Universitas Islam Indonesia, this event brought together global researchers, practitioners, and academics to share and discuss cutting-edge advancements in wireless and mobile technologies, IoT, and intelligent systems.

The conference was officially opened and closed by Dr. Fisal Budiman, the Chair of the Joint Conference, who emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in addressing the challenges and opportunities in telecommunications and intelligent systems. A highlight of the conference was the keynote address by Dr. Nasimuddin from the Institute for Infocomm Research, A-STAR, Singapore, chaired by Dr. Hanif Fakhrurroja. Dr. Nasimuddin’s talk, titled “Innovative Antenna Solutions for Sustainable and Efficient RF Energy Harvesting,” explored the role of advanced antenna technologies in enabling sustainable energy solutions for IoT devices, contributing to a greener and more energy-efficient future.
