Prof. Ninoslav Marina visited Telkom University, Bandung, on July 6, 2026, as part of his trip to Indonesia for the IAICT and ICSIGSYS 2026 Joint Conference. Prof. Ninoslav is the President of the Senate at the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle” (North Macedonia). He visited the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Telkom University to discuss potential academic and research collaborations between the two institutions.

The meeting between Prof. Ninoslav and representatives of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Telkom University took place in a meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Telkom University Landmark Tower. The meeting was attended in person by Dr.Ing. Fiky Yosef Suratman, S.T., M.T., Vice Dean for Finance, Resources, and Student Affairs; Dr.Eng. Favian Dewanta, S.T., M.Eng., Head of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering; and Hilman Fauzi, Ph.D., Head of the Undergraduate Program in Biomedical Engineering.

During this meeting, Prof. Marina presented his research, which focuses on developing trustworthy, secure, and human-centric digital healthcare systems by integrating artificial intelligence, blockchain technology, and next-generation information and communication technologies.
Dr.Ing. Fiky Yosef Suratman, S.T., M.T., introduced Telkom University by highlighting the campus profile, campus facilities, work programs, research ecosystem, and student achievements. In addition, Dr. Fiky showcased various innovative products developed from research conducted at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, emphasizing the university’s commitment to impactful research and the potential for expanding international collaboration.
The meeting continued with an interactive discussion with the attending participants, who were also lecturers from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The discussion focused not only on research areas but also on the possible future directions for collaboration between Telkom University and the University of Information Science and Technology “St. Paul the Apostle.”

This meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to share ideas, learn about each other’s research interests, and strengthen their international academic networks. The event also served as a step toward developing long-term collaborations that support research excellence, innovation, and global engagement, particularly in the fields of electrical engineering, information technology, artificial intelligence, and biomedical engineering.
