Hi everyone!
On July 27-28, 2021. IEEE ComSoc Indonesia Chapter and Telkom University organized and sponsored “The 2021 IEEE conference in Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, and Communication Technology.” (IAICT 2021), held in a virtual zoom conference due to Covid-19 pandemic.
IAICT 2021 provides a forum for researchers, academicians, professionals, and students from various engineering fields, cross-disciplinary interests, and working in Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, and Communication Technology to interact and disseminate information on the latest developments.
Paper published in the IAICT 2021 conference proceeding and presented paper will be submitted to IEEE Xplore. Total 42 accepted papers focus on:
- 25 papers on Artificial Intelligence,
- 12 papers on Industry 4.0, and
- 5 papers on Communication Technology.
The paper presentation was held in 7 sessions. There are 6 papers presented in every session within 15 minutes for presentation (live/video record) and 5 minutes for question and answer.
The opening speech session was delivered by:
- Mr. Muhammad Nasrun, the Chair of IAICT 2021
- Dr. Wiseto Agung, the Chair of IEEE ComSoc Indonesia Chapter, and
- Dr. Rina Pudji Asturi, the Vice-Rector for research, community service, and cooperation at Telkom University, Indonesia.

And the keynote speech moderated by Dr. Gandeva Bayu Satrya delivered by:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Danilo Pelusi, Associate Professor at the Department of Communication Sciences, University of Teramo, Italy. Speech entitled: “Artificial Intelligence algorithms for the design of smart machines”, and
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Indra Jaya, M.Sc., from Dept. Marine Science & Technology, Faculty of Fisheries & Marine Sciences, Institut Pertanian Bogor University, Indonesia. Speech entitled: “Current Research on Cyber-Physical System and Artificial Intelligence for Ocean Observation and Fisheries Applications”.

On Day-1, there were 18 papers presented in 3 sessions. The session chair in session 1 was Dr. Faisal Budiman, session 2 was Dr. Irwan Purnama, and session 3 was Dr. Ashif Aminulloh Fathnan.
On Day-2, there were 24 papers presented in 4 sessions. The session chair in session 4 was Dr. Rahmat Awaludin Salam, session 5 was Dr. Erwin Susanto, session 6 was Dr. Reza Rendian Setiawan, and session 6 was Dr. Kharisma Bani Adam.
The IAICT 2021, was such a fantastic event. Although in a virtual zoom conference, the atmosphere is as strong as an offline conference. All the keynote speeches and papers presented such an informative and exciting presentation. We look forward to seeing you at the next event! 🥳
