IAICT 2025 Wraps Up Successfully: A Global Hybrid Conference Celebrating Innovation in AI, Industry 4.0, and Communication Technologies

The 2025 IEEE International Conference on Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, and Communications Technology (IAICT 2025) successfully concluded on July 5, 2025, following three dynamic days of academic exchange, keynote addresses, paper presentations, and cultural engagement. Hosted as a hybrid event with in person sessions at the Holiday Inn Resort Baruna, Kuta, Bali, Indonesia, and virtual participation from across the globe IAICT 2025 brought together a wide community of researchers, professionals, and students to explore the latest advances in Industry 4.0, Artificial Intelligence, and Communications Technology.

Organized by the IEEE Indonesia Communications Society Chapter and supported by Telkom University, this year’s edition showcased IAICT’s ongoing commitment to bridging academia and industry. The conference demonstrated strong international collaboration and academic rigor, with 371 Technical Program Committee (TPC) members from 55 countries and 212 international reviewers from 48 countriescontributing to the peer-review process. From a total of 276 paper submissions originating from 32 countries158 papers were accepted for presentation, resulting in a selective acceptance rate of 57.24%. Each submission underwent an average of 3.9 independent reviews, underscoring the conference’s high standards and commitment to research quality.

A total of 126 papers were officially registered and presented during the conference. Among the three main tracks, Artificial Intelligence emerged as the most dominant theme with 83 papers, followed by Industry 4.0 with 28 papers, and Communications with 15 papers. This distribution highlights the growing emphasis on AI-related research within the scope of industrial and communication technologies.

The technical program was anchored by two distinguished keynote speeches. Prof. Dr. Lei Guo from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Singapore, opened with a presentation on “Adaptive Learning-based Feedback Control of Uncertain Systems with Applications”, offering insights into control system optimization in complex environments. He was followed by Prof. Dr. Nasimuddin from the Institute for Infocomm Research, China, who delivered a talk on “Next-Generation Circularly Polarized Antennas for 5G and Beyond”. Both keynote addresses drew wide interest, stimulating thoughtful discussion and setting a high standard for the subsequent paper sessions.

Throughout the conference, participants engaged in parallel technical paper sessions, where cutting-edge research was shared and debated across topics including smart systems, AI, robotics, data analytics, industrial automation, and wireless communication. The sessions were chaired by experienced academics and facilitated rich exchanges among global participants, both in-person and online.

Beyond the academic agenda, IAICT 2025 also embraced the spirit of cultural connection and relaxation. On the evening of the first day, a Gala Dinner welcomed participants with a spectacular traditional Balinese dance performance, offering a glimpse into the island’s vibrant cultural heritage. The atmosphere turned festive as attendees joined the dancers on stage, dancing together and celebrating in a moment of joyful cross-cultural unity.

The experience was further enriched with a Bali tour, giving participants the opportunity to explore the island’s natural beauty and historical sites. From serene temples and lush rice terraces to coastal vistas, the tour provided a refreshing way to unwind while fostering informal networking among delegates from different countries and disciplines.

The organizing committee extends its sincere gratitude to all contributors, including the TPC chairs and members, keynote speakers, reviewers, technical session chairs, and volunteers. Special thanks go to Telkom University and the IEEE Communications Society Chapter Indonesia for their critical support.

By combining rigorous academic discourse with cultural immersion, IAICT 2025 succeeded not only as a conference but as a meaningful international gathering. We thank all participants for making this event a success and look forward to welcoming you at the next IAICT where technology meets tradition and collaboration drives innovation.
