The IEEE ComSoc Indonesia Chapter is proud to announce its official partnership with Telkomsat, CCIT UI, and CoE IS Digit Telkom University Purwokerto for the Kompetisi Esai Satelit Nasional 2025. The competition was announced on November 14, 2025, and invites high school students and university students from all across Indonesia to submit visionary essays on the future of satellite technology and national digital connectivity.
Under the theme “Discover New Horizons: Menembus Babak Baru Dunia Satelit” participants are encouraged to develop creative and impactful ideas about how satellite technology can support national connectivity, education, and digital inclusion. Subthemes vary by category, from “Satellite for All” and “Satellite for Education” for high-school participants, to “Future Satellite Technology,” “Industry Policy & Satellite Sector,” and “National Technological Independence” for university-level participants.
Registration is open from November 6 to November 28, 2025, with essay submission scheduled between November 10 and November 30, 2025. The competition is free to enter, and both individual and team submissions (up to two persons per team) are allowed.
By partnering in this competition, the IEEE ComSoc Indonesia Chapter demonstrates its commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and technological innovation among the young generation — encouraging them to contribute ideas that could shape the future of Indonesia’s satellite infrastructure and digital connectivity.
